Driver side window won't roll down or up

This morning I found that my driver side window doesn't work. It won't roll up or down. I'm assuming that the motor gave out? Where can I buy the motor at? Any suggestions? Do I have to buy the pair (left & right)? Or is it possible to get the driver side motor? Please help guys. Thanks.

Probably easiest place to get one is eBay. You can just get the side you need there. There are several DIY on this site to help replace it. I don't beleive the motors are terribly expensive.

Try rock auto.

This is crazy weird dumb. So in the morning to work my windows weren't working. Parked my car went to work, on my way home tried rolling them down again and nothing still stuck. Got home, later on went for some food and tried the windows down again and they work now. Can't explain this but has anybody experienced something similar?

The motors probably dirty. Just take it apart & clean with alcohol. Theres a DIY on here for that.

If it was just the drivers side then I would start with cleaning the motor, if both windows are having problems simultaneously then it sounds like an electrical issue. Avoid the dealership if all possible...

Yeah it was just one side. I'm going to go with the motor is dirty then, I'll clean it this weekend. Thanks alot for the help fellas. If you guys can direct me to that DIY that'll be helpful also, can't seem to find it.

Listen to BowWizzel. I disassembled and cleaned my passenger side window motor 2.5 yrs ago and its still going strong. Don't blow your money on a new motor!!!

My passenger side window makes a click noise when I try to roll it down. Is this switch or motor? Not hearing anyone saying anything about a click noise:7:

Does it still roll up/down or does it just click?

Doesn't move at all, just one click noise every time you hit either passenger side window button.

Edit, the button for the passenger window on the driver side and the button for the passenger window on the passenger side

Just bought mine here. autoplicity.com Best price I could find. A lot of sites want core's etc and I didn't want to bother with that. Drivers side as well. Tried cleaning it earlier this year, only worked for about a month. When I did clean mine I was expecting it to be dirty, it wasn't. The A1 Cardone brand does not have a good reputation for reliability but I figured for the price I'd roll the dice.
