What's your MPG?

Hello Everyone! I just got a '06 G35 Coupe. I really don't know how much MPG I'm getting at around the city. I know it say 17/23 on Edmunds but I want to know it from you guys that own it yourselves. So what MPG are you getting around the city? and how much miles does your tank hold up before filling it back up again? (Miles Per Tank)

my average mpg is 20.4 and on the freeway I get 30(it tells me on the pop-up computer/Navi)
I can fill up my tank and go to work and back 6 times so about 360 miles.

Thats pretty good. I really don't like looking at the gas gauge cluster too much. Makes me feel insecure everytime it moves. I would much rather watch my mileage- which is more direct and accurate.

My city mileage is about 18.9 and I get over 300+ miles before I have to fill up again.

I'm getting around 18 city

I usually get between 22.5 to 24 MPG combined city/highway. I don't do a ton of highway, maybe like 40% highway. I tend to do better with my economy overall on backroads because I do a lot of high-gear loafing at like 40-50 MPH once I'm moving, whereas I'm usually going faster than is ideally fuel-efficient on the highway.

the best i get is 20 mpg. I try to drive at the most 60 mph to raise my mpg lol

Th3R3dStar323 Mar 11, 2013 12:45 AM

22 combined before boost

14 combined after boost

even bigger injectors and more boost I can only imagine will put me near the 10 mark lol

i will let you know on my next fill up.

On the 2004 coupe with 6MT, I get around 21.5 to 22 MPG. I drive mostly freeway for work. I fill up my tank after driving 350 to 360 miles which is about a quarter tank (a bit more than 17 gallons) for me. On the 2007 sedan with 5AT, I get around 1 MPG less (probably due to the HR). That car sees about half freeway and half city street mileage. Both cars are due for new spark plugs. I hope my MPG goes up afterwards.

First week I got the car I filled it up and went on a cruise, we were ripping on it for about a 3/4 tank of gas and I got like 17mpg at full stock

I am finally averaging around 20 mpg city/highway. I have about 7 miles during my daily commute on highway, but the traffic is pretty bad, so it's a lot of stop-and-go. My first week with the car, I got about 14...

I get about 20 on fuel economy mode. Before the test pipes I was getting 33 or so. I need a retune

KirkOKirby Mar 11, 2013 11:32 AM

Thanks for the replies guys! I'm not really sure how I'm doing but since my fill up, I've only put 122 miles on the car mixed highway and city. But mostly city. Not even halfway yet on the gauge but I rather look at my mileage. The gauge just bothers me because its so finicky.

I'm pretty sure there is a gigantic thread about this, would give you a much larger picture of what kind of gas mileage people get
