Is there something I'm missing?

For the past year and a half I haven't been able to figure this out for the life of me.
Are there different oem body styles for g35 coupes?
Why do I feel like some G35s look stubbier than others? Are there different rears for 05+ or something? I feel like the back of some Gs extends out longer or something. It honestly kills me.

See the picture below is stubbier, shorter and fatter back, thin front, etc
http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0083_large.jpg

Vs. Looks like a longer back, longer body in general, etc

it honestly perplexes me.

Look at the sticky in this forum, sports sides and front bumper and thinner spoiler could account for your perceived difference

The sticky doesn't help much because half the pictures don't even show, lol.

Yes, a little logic and common sense!

First of all the OB coupe is not sitting flat so it's sticking up in the backside. The IP coupe has been lowered and sits on aftermarket wheels and tires that are lower profile. You're comparing oranges and apples. It helps if you get a front lip to elongate the profile of your coupe then park it on a flat surface....Gary

All the coupes' oem rear bumpers are the same from the factory.
If their dimensions look dissimilar it's just your eyes playing tricks on you.

The level of talent of the photographer can make a big difference in how the car looks in a photograph. Also, not all photos on the internet are the correct aspect ratio - some have been stretched or compressed from their correct proportions.

It's just you....because even the ones you pictured are from the same model "years"

The top picture is crappy.

yea picture quality speaks for itself. the top picture makes it look like a Cobalt.... and like Gary said, when you're comparing a stock appearing car to one that is lowered, with different wheels and what not, it makes a big difference in the way you perceive the car.

Also the angle of the picture can make the G look drastically different. At some angles the G is not a good looking car but most angles of course look great.
