Bleed the clutch fluid. I get that pedal sticking issue typically in the summer when things heat up outside. Now I just bleed the clutch fluid every spring as preventative maintenance.

Seats/Radio
Hey Guys!
New to the G-scene. Picking up an 03 Coupe tomorrow. Aside from a few things I am already addressing, there are two which I am in need of some guidance with:
1) The drivers side seat appears to be broken. I havent dived in to it, as of yet, so I am unsure what the issue is, but I do notice when I was getting in and out, it was almost as though the bottom of the seat had either broken free from its weld, or possibly a bolt was missing that holds the track to the floor and the seat was shifting from load-change. Have any of you guys experienced issues with the seats doing anything like this? I was originally going to change the seat for another one, which I have located, but wound up spending unplanned funds on replacement headlights from a member on this forum, since the previous owner put in some cheap chinese crap from ebay and they all imploded.
2) For those of us who have upgraded to a double din headunit for the radio/gps, the unit thats currently in the vehicle doesnt quite fit the space alotted in the install kit. Theres a gap, prob 1/8 to 1/4" around the whole unit. Is there a trim piece available to fill in that gap, or do I need to deal with it until I find the money to replace it with a 7" variant that will fill the entire space with no gaps?
Thanks

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
The seats are held down by 4 bolts, pretty simple assembly. Obviously there are wire harnesses down there as well, but a broken seat is pretty rare.
If you look through the A/V section there's a sticky thread that will let you know everything you would ever want to concerning DD replacements. You'll need a trim piece that I believe is made by Scoshe you can get off Amazon and is under $10 IIRC. Check out the thread I mentioned for the right part.
Welcome to the family and take care of your girl, she'll do the same for you.....

Hi guys. Replacing the steering rack on my G soon, need to drain and replace the power steering fluid.
Which ATF would you recommend? OEM ATF for the power steering system? Mobil 1 also sells full synthetic stuff for $10.50 a quart.
The factory service manual says "Genuine NISSAN PSF or equivalent.."
Can't find any of this for sale? I need a recommendation. Who can help me out ?

does any one here know if the centre dash pocket
is the same in the 03-04 coupe as it is in the 05-07
as i have just done a stereo conversion and now have a giant gaping hole
and can only seem to find a 05-07 pocket on ebay.
this is for my nissan 350gt coupe 2003, same as the g35 coupe but right hand drive.

Can anyone please get me a measurement of how much the fuel door actuator sticks out in the locked position? Mine broke (well it's been this way since I bought it) and I want to jerry rig a fix, since it's not really worth replacing the unit (still locks and unlocks).
Gas thefts have been more common recently.

Is there a difference between the brake lights on a coupe sompared to a sedan? I've been looking for replacements and all I'm finding are ones for the sedan. Also, my brake and head lights are tinted/plasti-dipped and I'm not particularly a fan of the way they did it. Is there an easy way to remove that or am I better off just getting new brake/head lights? Thanks in advance.
