Online Dealer Inventory and F VIN's?
 

Does anybody know the time frame for the coupes that show up in dealer inventory. For example do the cars show up online a week b4 they arrive at the dealer or a week after, or is the the day before or after, etc. Just want to know how much longer after I see it online it will be at the dealer. Also Did anyone with an F order not get their VIN yet?

Yea I got an F order and I just called my dealer and asked him for my VIN #. He said the car should be in in about 2 weeks and he gave me my VIN #.

From what I've read on this forum, the car will show up just a day or two before they arrive at the dealer. Doesn't seem like there is any way to track the progress of shipment.

my car showed up on a Thursday on the online inventory, it arrived late monday afternoon (they got 3 shipments that day, mine was on the last shipment)

It all depends on where you live. Im in Detroit and Infiniti's midwest distribution center is in Chicago, so they show up on the inventory when they pass through Chicago

well mine is originally scheduled to ship here by may 29. But my dealer was telling me that it would be here second week of may. So I'm hoping he's right cause I can't wait. lol.

Damn, Called the dealer today and they didn't even have my VIN #!! Now I'm starting to worry I would think they would have that for an F order by now!!

Me too!! I called the dealership on Friday about my F order. He said he couldn't give me a VIN# but said that it is scheduled to arrive May 29 or 30. Is the VIN# a difficult thing for the dealer to get? Mine sure acts like it is.

G35 Coupe/Silver/Graphite/6MT/Prem.Pkg./BSM - late May delivery.

Not really... Mine was originally scheduled to come on may 30 like i said but the dealer said I can expect it sometime before that... about 10 days earlier and he also gave me my VIN #.

So wait you got your VIN in April?? you lost me somewhere in that whole timeline, maybe I just need some sleep.

lol ok. Some guy ordered a black coupe but he backed out. So i put a deposit down on his order so it's my car now. Since he ordered it a while ago I don't have to wait as long as everyone else and it's scheduled to come in on May 29. The dealer told me that I can expect it sometime before that... say 10 days maybe. So mines should be coming in soon. Also I already got the VIN # to my coupe from the dealer. Still lost? lol.

i called my dealer yesterday to ask her a question about the xm/sirrius radio. but before i could even ask her she said that she had my VIN# in. she told me that i'd be getting the car the beginning of june. i don't know

LoL yeah I get it now. Well you got lucky getting someones order thats for sure. I just cant friggin wait!!
