AC won't turn on, display is off as well

So I have an 03 coupe. I have a double din unit installed so no factory radio or anything. The other day I get into my car and start and go to turn on my AC I press the button(s) and nothing! I look at my display where it shows the AC commands and settings and its completely blank. I checked the 10 fuse under the hood near the battery for the AC and it seems fine. i also removed the Batt. terminal and put it back to see if that would do something , and nothing. I can see the lighting around the buttons for the AC control buttons come on when i turn the lights on, but pushing the buttons does NOTHING !
I attatched a photo of what i have installed.

thank you in advance

this is so frustrating especially with the 99 degree weather !:52:

I tried the original one factory one. nothing. is there a fuse that controls the Climate control Display unit or another ac fuse I'm unaware of.. both plugged in get the same result you can press any of the buttons and nothing turns on and the climate control unit is off showing nothing as if the car was turned off.
