Lock beep sound won't turn on???
 

I recently discovered some tricks you can do with the G35 like roll the windows down with the key fob. I also saw that there was a option to mute the lock beep, which mine has never had. I want to turn the beep on and I've tried everything. I've tried holding the unlock and lock for 5 seconds and nothing has happened. The car will lock, unlock open the trunk and sound a alarm fine, but for some reason it won't switch to the beep mode. Any help?

press n hold lock and unlock at the same time

About 5 seconds. Same time pressed chimes the horn and flashes the lights.
