Dafaq is that?

Pump up yer tires.

Polish it with a plastic polish.

If the plastic polish don't work on the outside, It might be build up inside the cluster. Meguiars plast-x works really well.

Looks like your car was the victim of a soup kitchen.

It looks like someone sprayed something on the plastic that shouldn't have been used for plastic. It's going to be tough getting in there to polish it all out. Post an AFTER pic if you get it out! Good luck.

Try airing up tires. If it doesn't work, probably have a bad TPMS sensor

Given that the batteries in the sensors only last 6-7 years or so....I bet there are a lot of TPMS lights on these days.

Is there any residue on the lens that you can scrape off using your fingernail? It's tough to tell from the picture if the gunk on there is actually gunk or damage from some acidic chemical. The plastic on those lenses is very soft and easily damaged. Even using a regular paper towel on it will cause scratches, so you really shouldn't clean it with anything but a clean microfiber towel or something equivalently soft. Make sure you tear the label off of the microfibers because that's abrasive enough to cause damage as well.

In your case though, you're going to have to first buff that thing down to get through all of the nasty stuff on the top layer. You may need to remove it from the vehicle to do a real good job and keep the surface nice and even from edge to edge. Something like a headlight restoration kit for plastic headlights would probably work well to buff that up.

I lose sleep if there's a warning light on in my dash. :icon38:

Can anyone tell me the position you'd have to be in to get your spunk there after a session in the car?
