Is 137k miles a lot? The guy is selling it to me for 7,500. Would the insurance be a lot if I'm 21???

Not if you just get liability. At $7500 and these cars current value, its not really worth paying for full coverage. Maybe liability with comprehensive.

Worry less about the miles and more about how it's been maintained. Maintenance records? Regular oil changes?

Unless you just buy it and rag the crap out of it until it breaks (which many do, unfortunately), be prepared to spend some money maintaining it. You can't get a performance-oriented car that is truly low maintenance.

Assuming it's not trashed, $7,500 is a decent price, though. Pics?

This is worthless without knowing the cars history or even pictures of the car. At that mileage a million things could need replacing.

As far as insurance goes, the other guy is right. No need for comprehensive on a $7500 car. I had it on my MR2 Turbo ($7500) and when I totaled it I got $4500 for it. I bought the car back for $450 and sold it for $2500. It kinda worked out, but it was a gamble I wouldn't make again.

I have comprehensive on my car now, but it's an 06 with 53k.
