Vdc?

Whats going on guys,

Recently had my car in the body shop for 3 months. Just got it back today. I drove it home from the shop perfectly fine and stopped for food. Once I got back in the car, the first turn of the steering wheel made my car bog bad (brakes locking up) by itself and the VDC off and Slip indicators were illuminated. It happened again at another stop and start up of the car. There are no lights on startup, only on the first turn while moving. Any idea of what it could be?

EDIT:

Here is everything that was done just to give all information whether it's relevant or not:

-Color change
-FULL interior color change from tan to black, meaning fully gutted (Dash replacement, center console, carpets, the whole 9 yards)
-Bride seats
-Harnesses
-Carbon fiber OE steering wheel from Carbon Fiber Element (amazing btw)
-Black OE airbag for new wheel
-JDM Double din kit
-Sub system

Did you have your tires or rims replaced in the process of getting whatever body work you had done to it applied?

They may have used weird tire sizes that are throwing off the system when you corner.

Nope. I had full interior color change, Brides, and paint/body work done. My airbag light is illuminated because of the seats. Do you think that the VDC and slip are somehow related? I still need to do the airbag reset procedure

i dont think the seats would set off the vdc/slip lights. (i have brides too)
mine are on currently, due to a bad speed sensor

Part of the VDC system is a steering angle sensor. If it wasn't centered or reset properly after your steering column was removed, it could cause funny things to happen.

A dealer or a shop with a Consult II device can perform "Adjustment of Steering Angle Sensor Neutral Position" for you.
