HKS Tip Replacement (4 3/4")

Hey all,

My exhaust (HKS True-Dual Exhaus) got hit (curb) and the bottom half crumbled in to pieces. I tried searching around and couldn't find much info on it.

Does anyone know where to source the oem tip or a really good clone of the same exhaust system...hopefully I can cut and re-weld new tips on both end. They're 4 3/4".

Does anyone have any recommendations or solutions?

Thanks!

Searching around? Did you :google: 4 3/4" exhaust tips? Generally when I'm looking for almost anything that's my very first location...Gary

I did find some cheap ones on ebay. I wonder how they will look or change the overall sounds of the exhaust.

I was curious if anyone knew a reputable aftermarket brand which they've possibly used on their cars...figured I would come here first before ordering anything online.

I have an actual hks rep exhaust - probably ebay - and the tips are removable.
Is it something like that which you could bolt/weld onto the remainder of your exhaust tips?

post a pic so we can see what you're trying to work with

You might look at Magnaflow tips!

Have you looked closely at the tips on your HKS exhaust system? They slip over the actual exhaust pipe so there won't be any change in sound! Find a set the right size with the same look, make sure they're stainless and replace your damaged tips...no worries! :OHBOY:

Will the MD tips work? Has anyone tried that? I'd like to have the rolled tips instead of the cut ones I have on there now

Jersey, I :google: and found several tips the right size with rolled tips but none that were blued. The sets were (as you'll see) somewhat expensive...Gary

I'll ask Tony when I get a moment free. I just feel funny asking someone "hey can I throw your exhaust tips on another exhaust system you guys didn't make?" Ha

Tony won't be shy about trading his exhaust tips for a "pair" of your $100 bills! :OHBOY:
