It happened again. I go to start my 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe, and it wouldn't start. I hooked-up an electric battery jumper, but it just cranks on and on. So it wanted to start, but it won't. There are no warning lights on the dash as I tried to start it. Everything on the dash is as usual. I believe something is "locked", because I cannot take the car out of park when I turn the key to ACC or ON position (not Start). I also noticed the brake pedal doesn't depress as much as it should. Can anyone please tell me what the problem can be? Is it something is intermittently locking up? If so, what could it be? Thank you so very much for any input.
Oh yeah, I forgot to say that after about ten minutes, I tried to start it again and it started. I also noticed the brake pedal depressed more. And also when key turned to ACC or On positions, I can move the car out of Park and into other gears.

 

Sounds like a failing key transponder, have it checked by Nissan, if you don't have a spare key get one made ASAP.
