Is my oem pump going out?

so sometimes my car cranks and won’t start and I won’t hear my pump so I keep turning the key on and off until i hear it then crank and starts right up. Also when I drive if I floor it around 4-5k rpm the rpms kinda jump without much power actually going to the wheels (at least it feels like that) and also sometimes if I floor it it will stay at a certain rpm for example flooring it from 4K to 5200rpm it will stay at 5200 for like a full second then go up as it should without changing throttle input I’m giving. Also it won’t tell me if it’s empty anymor, it runs out and I have to get a gallon to make it to the station, it always reads less than full then at around a quart it runs out of gas completely.

IIRC the pump relies on fluid going through it to cool/lubricate it. If the car has frequently run out of fuel, it's possible that it's been damaged and is no longer pumping as it should. What's your mileage? Every part has a lifespan, and it's always possible it's just been running for too long. Hopefully Cleric or one of the more knowledgeable guys stops by, they should be able to really help.

It’s at 109k. In regards to my power and rpm problem I’ve been told it can be my clutch slipping? Seems weird as it has maybe 3k miles on it, exedy stage 1 with a chromoly flywheel. This was my first stick shift and I do beat on it so maybe i wore my clutch out or something else wore it out, these problems just started maybe 300 miles ago, my clutch pedal is also sticky hopefully that isn’t wearing it, I always smell burning but My de engine burns a lot of oil so, might swap into an hr soon.
