G35 powerloss?

I have a 2004 g35 6MT with 180km and my car apparently has roughly a 30% powerloss. This is my first g35 so i wasnt sure what to expect when it comes to how its supposed to feel. Ive had everyone that has or had a g35 say it definetly has a power loss which was quite frustrating because The only code im getting is a large evap leak which i am getting close to solving right now. Im thinking that the powerloss might be bad catalytic converters im going to get them checked, but what couldve caused the cats to go bad? With NO Codes.

thoughts?
thanks

Plug in an OBD2 scanner and check your timing advance, I'm not sure if EVAP codes would cause the ECU to pull timing but they might, if the ECU isn't using the cam actuators then you will DEFINITELY feel a lack of power.

I think you should be about +40 degrees while revving the engine, can't remember but if you check it and post numbers I can go verify against mine.

when i bought the car(5 months ago) i did have a code for my timing being over advanced, it was the cam position sensor i just cleaned it up and popped it right back in and it ran better from when i first got it, and i had the timing checked from one of my buddies and they said it seemed fine. So what happend recently was i had a misfire code since i bought it but no rough idle or a noticable misfire, but then it started getting worse where i can hear the misfire and it shake the whole car it was crazy my SES light started flashing, took me a while to figure out but my sparkplug well(cyl.6) was filled with oil the sparkplug well gasket was done so it was leaking oil i got that fixed. So this is why im thinking now that my oil is what clogged my cats. I ordered some test pipes yesterday so thats my next move.

thoughts?
Thanks for the reply
