2jz swap, passing emissions?
Hello guys,
first I’m a new member yay! Anywho I’m thinking of doing an engine swap in my 06 g35 MT. I’ve had couple of ideas Ls,rb26, or 2gz. Oh and I’m also on a budget build around 8k. I’ve decided to do a 2jz swap, however the only thing that makes me have a second thoughts about it.........emissions. I’ve done a little research online and from my understanding is that the 2jz does not have or is not compatible to OBDII. Is there a way to pass emissions with a 2jz(my guy says no)? Another question How do people with high end horsepower pass emissions ? I live in Washington where they hook up an obd2 scanner from their computers. Sorry guys

CARB EO #'s / removing illegal parts every two years for testing / have a residence in a locale where emission testing is not required.
