Possible to remove all security and have no key and just a button to start?

Have a G35 I converted into an endurance racer and would like to eliminate the need for a key entirely. Ideally wired up to a basic switch pannel with an arming switch for On and a push button for Start. No need for a key at all. Just something to lose or break as things are already pretty tight inside.

I assume I'll need the immobilizer bypass module? But can anyone help me out in the wiring aside from that?

Thanks

The immobilizer and NATS can he bypassed. However it will still need the transponder to activate the start circuit I think.

You can always mount the transponder inside the dash on the side of the lock cylinder right next to the antenna, then it will always be in range however the vehicle will also always think the keys are locked in the car so you might have issues with the fob lock function.

The biggest issue is the START function is entirely handled by the ECM, it closes the starter relay, the fuel pump relay, etc. It's not actually handled by the simple act of turning the key like an old mechanical system.

Wait I'm talking about an 05 G35. No keyless go

The transponder is inside the key, pop it open and there's this small black piece that has an RFID. The antenna is mounted to the side of the lock cylinder, if you were to just take a copy of that key and put it in the ignition it would not start.

Check out section BL, Body & Locks inside the FSM.

I'm sure there's a way to make it happen, Uprev delete the NATS/IVIS, then just wire in a toggle and pushbutton to start the vehicle.

Oh yeah I get that there's a chip. I just meant that the car doesn't use the presence of the chip to do anything but immobiloze/mobilize the car so. So leaving a copy in there shouldn't be a problem right?
