https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/g35driv...72adc2a1cf.jpg So I need some help. I went to install a new window motor after having to clean the old one out only to get a couple days of use out of it. When I got in there I seen that the cables we're birdnested in the regulator and there was no way to open it up. I landed on the idea of drilling out the rivets, rewrapping the cables around the pulley, then using some small bolts I have to hold the regulator pulley housing together. I am having a hard time getting the cables wrapped right. It's either I have too much slack or the cables are too tight to fit the plastic pieces on the end of the cables into their spots. Is there a trick to this? I have tried it with the tracks in the up position, down position, middle position. Anybody have some tips to get this back together? Thanks in advance |
It's probably going to require a new regulator but I HAVE sucessfully rewound the spindle before, it requires the glass to be off the regulator.
