Clutch replacement

2007 G35 Coupe 6MT needs a new clutch, got about 113k miles on it and its slipping bad. Anybody have an approximate estimate on the price for a new clutch/flyweel etc.?
I've never had to replace a clutch personally before, how hard of a driveway job would it be if done myself?
If not done by me does anyone know of a trusted mechanic in the Jacksonville, FL. area that they would recommend?

Thanks! - Aaron

The first G clutch job I did in my buddies garage, it took us 18 hrs over 2 days - a good chunk of the first day was spent freeing up stuck bolts. I believe I spent about $800 for an OE DM flywheel and OE clutch. My 2nd G clutch job I did by myself in a garage with a lift and transmission jack. It took 9 hours, and I spent ~$650 for the Z1 lightweight flywheel and clutch package + $100 for the transmission jack (which I returned the next day).

If you have a second car and can afford to put the G up for a few days I'd say go for it.

Just shop around for prices on a clutch, TO bearing, flywheel, master and slave cylinder, and fluid.

Typically it's under $1k unless you replace it with another DMFW.

Ohh and the pilot bushing.

And I also seriously recommend replacing the rear main seal while you have it all apart. I got less than 10k out of my previous clutch because the RMS failed shortly after I replaced the clutch... >.<
