Can't get #1 and #5 Coil Plugs Off - 2006 6MT Coupe

In the middle of a coil pack and plug change on my 2006 6MT coupe. The driver side went off without a hitch (save the oil I found in #4 plug hole, but that's another post...), but for the life of me I can't get the coil plug clips off of the passenger side coil packs. I don't want to break them, so I was wondering if there's a trick that anyone could share with me? Esp #5 that has the wire loom bracket in the way

Hold the tab down on the connector. Insert a flathead screwdriver between the coil and connector lip. Turn the screwdriver and it will push the connector off.

I use a pair of angle head needle nose pliers to depress the release tab for almost ALL electrical harnesses. It's impossible for me to get those things with bare hands.

Agreed with above: when clips get old, they simply won't clip off easily. I use the small flathead screwdriver to push in the clip, and as said above, slowly push it off with another one. Just did this 2 days ago, pulling coils off.

I'll give these suggestions a go - thanks for the tips Scorpi0, cleric670, and 2003G35stock!

Just finished up the tune-up and I wanted to again say thanks for the tips! It took me a little less than an hour to get the remaining coils and plugs replaced and everything buttoned up
