power steering solenoid connector
the wiring for the connector for my power steering solenoid broke right at the end of the connector so i cant even just try to fix the wires...does anyone know what the name of the pins inside the connector are? if i can get new pins ill just re-pin the old connector

Honesty not sure. You really need to disassemble the connector and then go from there.

now that i think about it i could probably just replace both sides of the connectors and that would be the same as re-pinning the old connector

Yeah that would work, the pins inside all Nissan connectors are replaceable though, just takes a little poking around to figure out how they release for each harness, you can youtube search things like "depin nissan harness connector" and watch a few videos to get an idea how they depin.
You can then buy replacement pins online, normally for Nissan pins you use a micrometer and measure how wide the pin is, they use 4-5 different standard sizes, all measured in MM. Once you've done a few different cars you start to see the pattern of how Asian vs. American vs. German harnesses are depinned. |
