If you like it thats all that matter, but as some would say it "not my cup of tea". :)

i don't think it really matches well with stone or graphite leather, but I do think it would look really good with wheat. Anyone ever seen a pic of this combo?

Because real wood looks nicer than plastic?--IMHO :)

the wood isn't as hideous as the fake crap they put in the Altima & Maxima, but surprisingly enough, as "real" as the rosewood is, it still looks a bit fake. i think the M's wood is even worse! yeah, the wood IMO looks WAY better in wheat (don't have any pix but i think it's supposed to be in the '05 G sedan brochure). i really wish they used the same stuff they put in the Q45 or even the ugly QX56...

Yeah, but in this case real aluminum looks nicer than real rosewood. IMHO, at least in the Stone interior. (However, I saw the rosewood trim in a Wheat sedan and thought it looked a kazillion -- that's a lot -- times better than the aluminum. The metal looked too cold next to the warmy-comfy-cozy beiges and browns in the car. Rosewood blended in nicely.)

i agree! the textured aluminum, especially, looks simply HOT in the M! funny, the guys up on acura-tl.com all call it "plood" (for "plastic wood") and the TL's black interior can only be had w/ the aluminum trim (which I think is plastic, or "paluminum" as they might call it), but their tan interiors all come w/ the plood. It's too bad that Infiniti didn't follow suit, but yeah, stone=aluminum and wheat=rosewood (but if you're driving a 6MT, then you're out of luck!).

In some cars, it just wasn't meant to be and the G is one of 'em...looks like its out of place or an ACTUAL option where as in a benz or bimmer...it looks like it belongs but thats because they use it EVERY WHERE, even across part of the dash yada yada...

"Not my cup of tea"
