I am only one in it.. lucky me .. just got my hand cut by the shattered glass when I undo my seatbelt and fall on the top of the car (now upside down) I do have to say the G does nice job keeping me in it while it hit the tree and flip over but really.. it's not my fault the road was slippery after the rain

sorry to hear man, i had 3rd degree burns, meaning glass cut all the way to my bones when my suv flipped, it was a hit and run. Also was your VDC on or off?

well, it was just after a light rain. VDC is on all the time, I was on the right lane going no more than 50 when a car stop too far out at the intersection (trying to turn right), I just do what I usually do, go around them.

and then it happened... right after I go around her, I try to get back to the right lane again and it just keep going right .......... then it hit the tree and flip over.

Not really sure why it does that, the only thing I can think of is the road is too slippery for me to make that move, vdc sure doesn't help at all

I know this is kinda random, but by the looks of the pics, the police car looks like Austin Police, and the road looks like Braker between Mopac and 183 (It looks like that gym that's in the middle of nowhere is in teh background of one of the pictures). I know the interection that's the first one east of 183 is EXTREMELY slick in the wet. Before I had bought my G35, I had an IS300. Lexus of Austin is just around the corner from that intersection. One day I was going to pick up my car after having an oil change and otehr assorted things fixed. I was driving an extreme-base model Toyota Camry loaner car that didn't have a CD player let alone ABS. WHen I went to slow down to take that corner (at a nomral speed), the front wheels locked up and I slid well past the turn. It was as if I was on ice. I pumped the brakes, but I just kept plowing forward.

I'm sure if the cops were on the scene, they'd know that this stretch of road is really slick, but just htought I'd let you know.

They do look like Austin cops.

Sorry about the G. I did the same thing last year to the Acura after the rain.
