Anyone get p'd off or feel weird when they see someone on the road with the same exact car like yours ? lol I mean I don't get upset and all, but it just feels weird... I went from feeling like I'm the only one in town with this car and I finally saw another one like mine... That's like the 3rd time I seen a car like mine this month.. .ahhh...lol Damn I feel weird for some reason, especially when they look at u. I bet they get the same feeling...lol Whew thank god I have 5 percent tinted window's or else I don't know what I'd do when they stare..

I have never really felt like this about any other car I have owned in the future but this car. What the hell is my problem? Should I get counciling or something? Ahhhh... I hate thinking and feeling like that. If I had a Mercedes, BMW or a Honduh Civic I wouldn't car since every other car is either one of those in So Cali... I dunno what to do. I feel like pulling my freakin hair out when I get like that =(

I definitely see counseling in your future.

I personally enjoy seeing other G35Cs on the road. I was doubly excited to see one exactly like mine. I think a G35C is still "rare" enough that people will gawk at it.

What I'd really enjoy is getting together with local MD Coupe/Sedan owners and cruising. I'd wager that a convoy of G35s would be a serious sight to behold.

Also, it seems that there are a lot of Cali G35C owners on all the message boards. MD owners seem few and far between.

You could take some vicoden and seak counseling or maybe put some big stickers, racing stripes, and a wing. Then your car would differant again and the only one like it on the road. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img] Relax man. You can't stop what is inevitable. The car is just awesome so everyone wants one. Same thing happened with the new style E46 M3. I don't know where you live in Cali but I live in Long Beach and there were already two coupes in my area before I got mine. I'm sure the guy up the street with the black one is bent now since I see them at least once a day now. Cali is the land of dope cars so that virgin feeling will never last long no matter what car it is. I actually think it's cool cuz' whenever I see another coupe owner he/she often notices me just as quick and usually theres a wink or a waive. It's cool man enjoy being part of something great. Yeh bro, there's now 3 Coupes in my town--- ALL THE SAME even another on my street about 10 doors away!
D/G-Silverstone is 'da bomb' here in Cambridge.

I know I think it's kinda cool to see someone but man I just feel weird...lol I guess I'll adjust. I think I'll hold off on the counciling...lol Just a case of "only oneism" or whatever they call it. Yea I know what u mean man about Cali having the dopest cars on the road... Lotta AMG'd out S600's, Ferrari's I pass (or they pass me) on the road almost every other day on that coast... I guess the thought of seeing the car I have 3 times in a month made me tweak out... As for meet's and all I wouldn't flip at those...lol Hell nah, I'd enjoy meeting the people who are behind the wheel as long as they don't drive like a 4'10" Lady in a EXCURSION barely looking over the stearing wheel... I know I'm surrounded by rich people so I wouldn't doubt they'd see my car and decide to get one since a few people in a nice S500 asked me what kinda car was it at the 76 Gas Station when I was filling her up... As for adding a million sticker's, getting those riced out lines in between and a powered by infiniti sticker on my car I think I'll hold off for now. Or at least till someone dyno's there car with those mods added on (JUST KIDDING) lol... Oh yea and sorry for the language on the topic, thanks for fixing it. This forum has the quickest Mods in the west!!! I knew it seemed kinda rude.. ack...

lol....that's the beauty of where I live--small and rural and if you're not in a pick-up truck, you're an oddity. So, I have the dubious distinction of having the first and, so far, only G35 Coupe in the whole parish...

Baton Rouge isn't much worse as far as coupe density. I have seen VERY few and even fewer with the 6MT/full aero package. AND, I think I got the only black one around...Kyle (kyleinbrla) has a red one. What you think about it Kyle?

In a past life, I hung with some guys that whenever they saw a car like theirs, they'd yell out 'parts!!' then follow the car home to see where they lived. I'll leave that story there but most of those dudes are back in jail. I think your best bet for therapy would be to get acquainted with the other owner(s) and see if they're G35driver members. That way, you can wave rather than growl when you see 'em. ...dean

You can't get even ghetto'er' then that... Following someone's ride home to jack them for there parts for there car... Sounds like someone with civic's would do... Not trying to say all civic driver's follow other civic driver's home to jack there hub cap's at night but damn... lotta kids around here in there civic's that talk about that... Kinda makes u think *sigh* lol

Yeah, I have to admit that ever since then I've always kept a eye out for having the same car drive by just after I got home. At work, a friend's daughter just got a Civic SI and had the SI sticker swiped the first or second day she parked at college. Bottom line is that it never hurts to know those driving the same rig as you. That way, if you see 'em driving around with a new spoiler and you've just got some holes left in your trunk lid... you might just know where to go.

Man, I feel exactly the same too, not with different color, but if I see the same color (Silverstone / 5AT) I'll be like... screaming NOOOO.... I dun think we need counseling, it's just different perspective. U buy a nice car, obviously U want to be the unique one. At first I pick this color becuz I purely think it's super pretty on this G35cp, but found out that there're so many same colors as mine out there, I start liking the Ivory instead (becuz it's so rare)... But good that me and U have our G's tinted, and not a lotta ppl have theirs tinted, so whenever my friends told me how many "same" car they saw, I just added, "well they didn't have their windows tinted, so it's different..." So now I am puting my G35driver.com sticker to make my G look more different, and U will be happy ever again. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Around my part of Cali, xcept for the sedans, all the g35 i seem to be seeing are black coupes with tint and spoilers. Glad mine is silver, auto, and wingless. =)
