What gas station do you fill up at?

So far I've tried to fill up at a Shell, BP and Mobil. All of which only had a 93 octane premium. Where can I find 91?

Sunoco :)

speedygp 05-01-2005 01:09 AM

Sunoco 93 or 94, because they make race gas so they are good enough for me, if not available then Mobil Super!!! I used to have a turbo car, and never got knock w/ either of these fuels. As for Shell , stay away that gas is sh-itty!!!!!!!!!!!

higher octane does not necessarily mean it is better for the car.. octance is only a rating on how likely it is to detonate or not...

Why exactly do you want 91? 93 94 will do just fine. That is what I always put and no problems at all.

actually shell's v-power, 91 octane here in cali, is prolly the best gas you can put in your car, i dont know what you are talking about Speedygp?

SilverII 05-01-2005 08:25 AM

THe cheapest 93 I can find...

GeeWillikers 05-01-2005 08:32 AM

Sams Club. 93.

lkmbrd 05-01-2005 09:34 AM

I thought that 91 was the best "compromise" gas for our cars. It's a high enough octane that it won't hurt our engines, yet it won't get drank like 93+.

gspotter 05-01-2005 11:31 AM

BP Amoco 93.

93 is better than 91

Sunoco 91

93 and 94 is more then 91... sometimes by 30 - 40 cents... shell is outrageously high in tampa...radiant (i think thats what its called) is the best for me... i may in cash, get 3 cents off... :D ... then again i only use reg, for now...

You use reg. Please read on Gas requirements on the G35. I do not want to scare you, but i have read that reg. is not something you want to use. I would use 91 and many other G35 owners do the same.

Why would you want to put 93 and 94 when 91 is fine?

Higher octane does NOT mean the gas is better.. it doesnt seem like anybody here understands that. Higher octane than recommended by the manufacturer may result in bad gas mileage and poor running conditions..

93 is better than 91
On what basis?
