Bat's overlay install

I'm having some trouble finding a place that won't mess up my car and/or overlays. Does anyone in NC know of a place that has experience installing them? Also, I tried to find a thread that had a DIY but couldn't, does it exist?

Thanks.

:)

Don't know of anybody in NC who does it, but - 99% of our customers buy them as a DIY project: FYI & FWIW.

G35 is a bit tricky because of the curves of the lenses - requires pateince - but we've already sold a number of kits to G35 owners and haven't had any complaints so it must be doable.

There is a small plastic squeegee that comes with the larger kits, otherwise no special tools needed. You need a hair dryer - gentle warming is part of the application process - a trigger spray bottle with water in it, and a sharp razor knife for any trimming. The basic gist is: get them wet, align them and squeegee into place. The real directions are more specific.

I believe I saw a write up on how to DIY on Bat's website. I've seen plenty of pics already installed, but I'm interested in pictures of the overlays before being installed and during the application process. That would be helpfull.

Unfortunately my pics from my DIY went with my origional gallery. I will have them back up once I get up and running again ;).

A few friends of mine installed the higher quality ones on their cars themselves after trying the thin cheap ones I would assume your tint shop or a sign shop would be able to put them on for you if you don't want to do it for yourself.

Excellent point! Go with the thick (17 mil) stuff.

It's a little late considering I already have Bat's overlays but, how thick are they?

:D
