Dealer can't tell me what color my interior is. Help...
 

Hey Guys,

I got my preowned G/Skyline a couple months ago, and I was wanting to order a new shift knob for my 03', and wanted to get an 05' since it's leather wrapped.

Of course I wanted it to match the interior color, but color is it? I have no clue, I didn't make the car, you know, so I thought my dealer could tell me....nope. They "Have no Clue". What a bunch of dumb arse's!!

Can I give Service my VIN # to get the exact color of my interior?

They originally told me it was "STONE", but I was told by a member of this group, that Stone was not available in 03' and that I must have "WILLOW".

So, I'm already guessing that the LEATHER wrap is not going to happen since they don't make willow or whatever in 05'.....please help me figure all this crap out...

2003 is either Graphite (aka black) or Willow

I'm sure you are right, that it's probably "WILLOW".

All I know, is that it's one sweet @ss looking color for the Brillant Silver, looks really SICK!!

If it isn't black leather it is either Tan or Willow. Tan is a very beige color leather while Willow is almost a light grey. Stone is offered in only the '05 models and it is a light grey.

To attach a picture click the "Manage Attachments" button below and click the Choose button. Once you ahve located your picture click the UPLOAD button. Then you are all set.

Hmmm. So it looks like Willow leather is the exact same as Stone leather. All they did was make the carpeting grey and dashboard black. I always thought they changed the leather a little for stone. Interesting.

I'll tell you what, when the salesguy told me that it wasn't Silver with Black interior, I was thinking "probably yuck", but when I walked up to it and look in, and then opened the door yuck turned into "How Much was it again!?!?"

Well, when I have time to shrink the big bast*rd down then....

no, willow = wheat, stone is light grayish in color...

I have the stone interior but I believe the shift knob is black, to match the dash.

Willow can't = Wheat, b/c I've seen Wheat. It's more of a "YELLOWISH" tan than the Willow is.

Look @ the picture a few comments above. That's what mine looks like exactly.

What are you guys talking about. Look @ the picture posted a few comments before us....

It's like a "Pale Purplish Color" with Lite Cream...is the only way I can describe it...a picture is worth a 1,000 words, so check out that pic...

That looks like stone in the pic above, but it might be because the color is a bit off. Unless those seatbelts are supposed to be lavender. ;) The dash, etc. looks like that brown'ish one that comes with the wheat/willow interior instead of the black that comes in the Stone interiors.

Yeh, I'm going to say that you've got the wheat/willow instead of the Stone. :p

I am saying that the willow leather is like stone. The willow carpeting and dash is Tan. However, I think they carried over the leather into the stone interior.

its Willow. Stone is not avaliable on 03-04 cars. Stone is Gray shaded, not parchment like willow..

Stone interiors have black dashes, so the shift knob is also black. If you order a shift knob from the stone interior, you will be receiving a black knob.
wheat= tan dash
stone = black dash
