I'm a retard... or am i???
Sup guys,
I just tried to install my NISMO Cold Air Intake for my 05 coupe. Everything was going well until the MAF Sensor part. The directions are for a 2004 350Z so the pictures looked a little different. Anyways, I gave up cuz i was losing light fast so i just put the stock intake back on...which was also a bitch cuz its 96 degrees outside.. Anyways, I'm frustrated and i think imma just wait for the headers to come and then send it into to a shop to get it installed. sux... Anyone install their NISMO intake have any suggestions? foobs  |
what was so hard bout it??? you just remove the MAF from the stock air box and attach it to the new intake.
i just realized that i had the bolts backwards and that's why it wasn't connecting... ill try again tomorrow....
wow!!!!
yeah you are a retard
ahah jk :) |
ok guys,
so i got too anxious again and just installed it! :) Not completely though, where it goes all the way down. I think i may need some help with that. Short Ram'd for now i guess. But tell me if this is ok, its basically just the upper pipe to the MAF, the conector directly to the filter. I have quite a few extra pieces and it sounds ok. It won't kill my car will it? haha |
how do i reset the ecu?
nvm about the ECU, i found the post. But does my installation sound ok for the car?
so you hooked up the filter directly to the MAF??? can you take some pics to get a better idea of what ur talkin bout
As long as you have filtered air going into the tube your just fine.
i tried escobar but my damn digicam is decided to stop working! argh. anyways, its basically the MAF > Metal Connector > rubber connecter > the filter.
basically the extra parts i have are the bypass valve and the tube that has the support thingy on it.
