2Fast 2Furious - No G35's
 

I caught 2Fast 2Furious this weekend and was surprised that I saw no G35's (coupe or sedan) in the film. There was however one killer Nissan Skyline GT-R that was totally awesome! I want that car!!

Thank God!!! - if I would have seen a G35 in that movie, I would have killed the director/producer/whoever! They are not worthy of the G!

Nissan was lobbying to make the 350Z the featured car, but they were outbid by Mitsubishi, who subsequently made sure that no other cars you could buy at a dealership in that price range made it into the film (except a humiliated Mustang and an S2000 that only a Barbie doll would drive).

I doubt the G35 was ever going to be in it. It's not a model with alot of "street cred," and that definitely wasn't the market Infiniti wanted to target. Lousy movie anyway (except for the opening scene).

that was the bigest disgrace to skyline GTR's ive ever seen
and i liked the movie.

I really hope that's not Infiniti's target market. I certainly don't want to be associated with the mindset nor the activities commonly associated with the 2Fast 2Furious crowd. Not trying to spread any ill will, just that Infiniti's supposed to be an upscale brand, not street racer material.

Now i was wondering why there hardly any Nissan in the movie...They could have had the skyline in the movie just about an hour more...
