Will the GTR diminish or help retain the G's value over time? What do you think?

Some say since the GTR will be so expensive and most won't be able to afford it, that the next nicest and affordable thing will be the G.

While others say that the value of the GTR will make the G just another car and the value won't be as good.

same concept with the 3 series and M3 imo. seems like everyone has a 325 these days. rarely see any 330's. i can see it going either way depending on what the GTR will be competing with, M3 or 6 series, corvette, viper, etc... Infiniti is japanese so I don't forsee any big change in value going down

They are different cars targeting different people. I don't see why the G would be affected. This is a GTR not a G35 GTR.

I think it all depends on what platform it's made on. I haven't heard of the G35 being continued or discountinued when the 07 or 08 GTR arrives. I haven't even heard of a redesign on the current model G. Al I hear about is the GTR is finally coming to America.
