Where to get this ???
 

I dunno about others but i bent my jack points a bit so i was wondering where i can get these from. I pulled the link from another thread. This is what i been looking for even considered making them myself out of thick rubber or similar.

Any help would be appreciated.

You know it's gonna be really hard to find those pieces because it's just not in demand. You're best bet is to go to the Parts Dept at the dealer and locate the parts on their schematics. Good luck

Call around to salvage yards, maybe they know of parts cars.

The Special Service Tools referenced in the Service Manual are supposed to be available from Kent-Moore Tools. Unfortunately, they don't sell that part.

I would also like to know where to get them.

Eastwood Company makes them as floor jack adapters...

Ive never seen those b4, but they seem pretty useful. Just skiming real quick I saw a couple other things I wouldnt mind having.

That doesn't seem to be the same jack stand pad. The one Nissan wants us to have has a rectangular slotted cutout to run along the unibody seam. This pad looks like needs a hole to put the pad into???

The FSM says that it's a Kent Moore part number, I've got a message into them (they open at 8am EST) and I'll post back the price and availability in a few...

Well damn. I just spoke with "Ron" at Kent Moore about this jack stand adaptor and he told me that this is a PHANTOM PART never made in the US.

Apparently the SST stands for Special Service Tools and he said that there is a chance that this is actually a JDM part that was made in Japan under a different part number. He also said that when they were translating the FSM that they might have accidentally referenced a SST that was in the process of being designed, but was never ordered.

Does anyone with the Japanese connection know if this part was ever made?

YOu know at this point i think i'm just going to make my own out of wood and rubber.

Seems to be a long process to find something like that. I think it was stupid of nissan to make the jack points paper thin and be able to bend soo easy. :mad:

Not to hi-jack a thread, but why don't you guys use ramps instead? Are they not stable enough on its own without jack stands? I only ask because I have Rhino Ramps but haven't used them yet.

Ramps are useless if you have to remove a wheel or work on the suspension. They should work otherwise, provided there is enough clearance between the front air dam and the ramp to allow the front tire to drive up on the ramp before hitting it. I had that problem with a car I used to have. I even had to drive the car up on wood planks to get a jack under it.
