Need opinions on engine bay change...

I was thinking of changing all the caps to red (to match the engine cover, and filters). So I did a quick photoshop...

Just looking for suggestions (i.e. something I missed), or comments.

Looks OK I guess...

But I don't think it's worth any effort or money.

The only useful thing that I could think of about having different colored caps is that it might make it easier for you to locate them at night if you're dealing with less than satisfactory lighting situations.... of course... if the light isn't good enough to see where the caps are, then you probably won't be able to see the level of the fluid inside the reservoirs either or accurately pour any fluid in. ;)

I think he is trying to go up a notch on the bling gauge.

How are you getting them another color? Paint I assume? Be careful painting plastic like that as I have had good/bad luck with different items.

I know this may sound rediculous....
But it would be cool if Infiniti painted the inside of the engine bay with the same paint that they use on the body.... instead of the ugly flat color. I never really thought about it until 2 weeks ago. I was waxing the inside of the engine bay on my truck, and realized that the engine bay was painted with the shiny-clearcoated paint that matches up with the exterior paint on the car, and although I was waxing it for solely protective purposes... it made the engine bay look spectactularly gleamy.

Inside the engine of the G35 is almost like gray primer.

Thanks guys. Yeah, this is just for looks.

I as thinking of just using some Krylon Fusion (bonds well to plastic).
