Scheduled 3750 servicing

Going for first scheduled maintenance. Is there anything I should tell the service manager....such as recalls? I haven't received an recall letters on the G. Can anyone list recalls without having to do search? Thanks.

I have a march production coupe, but no grease streaks. Should I tell them to take care of it anyway?

Work your windows a few times , my "grease marks" did not appear until after a couple of months after I got the car, they are very distinctive and will clean up , but its hard!
As time goes on they appear less and less but it it better if they repair them.

Re: Scheduled 3750 servicing

yeah same here Guru, mine didnt show up until last month. Now that it is mid-summer, i roll them up and down way more often than back in april/may
Zorro, try to roll up and down the passengerside window 15 times, see if you get the small streaks, the streak starts at about 10 inches from the A pillar and 6 inches below the top arch
the streak continues all the way down to the bottom sill.
Sometimes the streak is very faint, so then you have to be in the right light/angle to see it.
It cleans up easy but then after 3 times of rolling the window up and down, they reappear (for me at least).

Re: Scheduled 3750 servicing

On my recall card that Infiniti sent me, it writes about the break light problem and the heated seats buttons being backwards. They said to have this replaced as well. BTW, has anybody actually experienced a bad break light switch and had to get it replaced out of safety? Richmond Infiniti told me that they have not seen a single one yet that was actually "bad"......................MASTERSR6

Re: Scheduled 3750 servicing

I have a March production car. I have not noticed the window grease problem. I have not received any recall notices from Infiniti. When I took my car in for service last week, they said no recalls apply to it, not even the brake switch. Is that correct. Does it only apply to certain VIN numbers??

Re: Scheduled 3750 servicing

gsg, they took care of my brake switch yesterday when I took it in for my first oil change. I didn't even have to mention it, it came up on the computer automatically. However, they didn't mention anything about the grease streaks. I usually roll my windows up and down often, and haven't noticed any issues. I assume it applies to only certain models. Just to confirm, March production orders were 'Z' orders, right? Mine was a Z order.

I bought my car last week of April. They never told me what order I was in. So far I haven't received any recall notices in the mail. Going to bring in for servicing this Friday (day off....yeah baby). Let's see how it goes.

Re: Scheduled 3750 servicing

Well I just went for my 3750 service. Had,
1. 3750 oil change
2. Fix Drivers window grinding/grease streak (minor)
3. Fix creaking noise in rear passenger suspension.

Results:
1. Oil change done (duh)
2. Windows was re-aligned, no more grinding, no streaks
(yet)
3. Tightened loose nut/bolt in suspension, no more creaking noise.

All in all, good service (Tustin Infiniti). However the guys there need to get their act together after the customer pays. My car sat there in the repair docks for like 20 minutes while I was waiting in the driveway. They actually started closing up shop, and I was still waiting. Jesse (service manager) apologised, and ripped the cashier a new one.

Funny thing, I had a Auto Sedan as the loaner (as most of us do). It is a real responsive car with regards to pickup. The soupe feels slower in this repect (longer gearing). Funny!!. I enjoyed having the auto for the day, especially with my commute to Hollywood.

Mike.
