What's the usual price for the 15K service? Is it worth it to get it done?

Be ready to be yelled at for not using the search function.
A good source of this kind of information is also your Maintenance Manual and the User Guide. I'm at 23K and I have only done oil changes. I don't have a friendly mechanic, so if I can't do it myself, I'll probably get it done at the dealer.
Squeaky brakes are not normal, it usually means you should replace your pads within a month or two. Although it does happen prematurely if you have Brembos. Best to check and be sure.

I was just reading an article from a couple years back (2003) that Infiniti will be offering free brake service (pads and rotors) for 3 years/36,000 miles. Is still in effect? Seems like their brakes are still a problem.

for non-brembos, i think they are still under warranty. i just passed 15k also, and brakes are starting to squeal. i don't think there's much to be done for 15k service, but i'm trying to get the transmission fluid change, alignment, and cabin filter replaced.

The brake warranty is only good for 03-04 models. They changed the brakes in 05 and it's no longer valid. 5 more months on mine, then it's time to switch to some dustless pads. :)

On my 04 coupe, I had the brakes ( fronts) done at 22,000 pads and rotors.
After talking with the service rep.. he explained how the front pads have a groove in them and build up from the pads usually collects in the groove, its pretty easy to pop out the pads and clean the grooves. while your at it you can inspect the rotors as well. just had the rears done at 28,000 rotors turned, and new pads installed ... better than new !

is the warranty affected if you don't bring your car in for these "recommended" services?

i have an 05. whats the brake warranty on mine?? they arent the same as the 03-04? thats mest up!!!

Your warrenty should be okay regardless of if you go to the dealership to do your services. They can not deny you b/c they didn't do the service.

but to answer your questions, the price depends on the dealership. All my local dealers charge different amounts so you just have to call and ask.

A good alternative is to do as much as you can yourself and only ask the dealer to do what you can't or don't want to do. Especially at 15k, i really don't find a big need to do anything major. I would wait till 30k.
