So I took a very low-budget sound clip today at lunch; I'm gonna try to get something better tonight.

forgot: my only mods are the midpipe and HKS exhaust... stock intake. (although I did remove the "power duct" which made things sound a bit more agressive.

Thanks for posting Pska.

Try to find a lonely backroad so you can have some room to let it breath and yell more

I'll post this thread up in the Exhaust sticky.

I love the sound of the HKS exhaust. Thats an axle back, right? How much does one of those run?

that sounds really nice, does the 350z midpipe needed any modding to fit the sedan to accommodate the hks muffler?

the HKS muffler was $370 from thmotorsports; free air shipping. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

as for the 350z midpipe; it is 8" short; you can buy extensions for around $50, but my exhaust guy did the entire install for $60 which included welding the 8" extension in place (way better than having gaskets etc on an extension IMO)

So yea buyer beware; you DO need an extension to make the 350z midpipe fit... the only reason I went for one was because here in canada, nobody seems to mod coupes, but lots of people mod the 350z; so I just didnt have access to a coupe midpipe, plain and simple.

$370 for HKS is a great deal man; I've seen the same muffler for up to $550!
