Info on putting OEM forged Coupe 19's on Sedans.
wheel specs:
19x8 + 30 in front with 225/40/19 19x8.5 + 33 in rear with 245/40/19 but what are people running on the sedans. I have read in a bunch of different places that the optimal for the sedan would be... 19x8.5 + 43 front with 245/35/19 19x9.5 + 43 rear with 275/35/19 but i still can't figure out what the optimum setup is for using this on a sedan. It seems that half the people use them without spacers and keep the 225/40/19 in front and putting 235/40/19's in the back to prevent rubbing. then i heard that people are using 10mm spacers in front. Does this let you put 225's in front and 255's in the rear. i feel like that would be a good setup for this wheel choice. Note i am running at stock height, and i don't want my wheels rubbing if i have 3 guys in the back or something. i know there is a super long thread on this, but its pretty old https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/61110-19-coupe-wheel-sedan-thoughts.html https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/64684-19-oem-rims-sedan.html and i have looked at this http://g-owners.com/article_read.asp?id=27 any info would be great, of people running on coupe 19's |
The only real option is just to bolt them on. I don't know where you heard that from, but adding 10mm spacers are going to push the wheels out farther from the fender.

I have them on my unlowered sedan. No rubbing.

I have them on my lowered G35 Sedan with no rubbing
Lowered on 350Z stock suspension http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...t/DSC03915.jpg |
MI SO FST.. im suprised that you dont rub in the rear.. I have the same set up as you: 350z suspension.. except that I have the 05 revision springs in the rear. Note that I only rub on sharp turns and on dips. I think that im going to go 235/45/19 on my next tire purchase.

hmm, I dont know. I know that every car is different but I also have pretty bad negitive camber. When i went to the alignment shop they said that my drivers side was -2.3 and the pass was -1.6. The pass side isnt that bad and i still dont rub. I even have a set of 350Z track wheels with the stock tires on there and they dont rub either. Going up and down my kinda steep driveway I dont dont rub. Exiting the highway one u turn curves at higher speeds arent rubbing either. I guess it really depends on the car.

btw, did i say that your car is #Q$^#@^# CLEAN !

damn this is the safe flippin set up I want on my sedan.

Um if you wanted to be unique or something, I believe you are about 10 cars too late and about 1 year too late. :)
But I didn't care so I did it.

i guess the next question is should i just bite the bullet and spend $1200 to buy them even though i only have 5000 miles 2005 Sedan 6MT wheels and tires, or should i wait till my stock tires go bald (way too long)
i showed pics on the forum to my girl, and she thinks im retarded and can't tell the difference between the two. Give me some moral support guys. I should do this right? btw i have a black/black 2005 6MT |
