New Custom Work on Mild Drop

I debadged the rear except for the Mount Fuji. Had the grill painted black except for the Fuji. Had all the chrome trim pieces painted black, and the door handles painted diamond graphite of the body. I think it's down something like just about an inch on BC coilovers. I plan to have the headlight housing area painted black, and probably the tail lights smoked.

I figured the black accents would go better with the black wheels. The wheels seemed like a pretty good deal, and were at the top of what I was willing to spend. I've got a guy whose going to paint the headlight housings black and smoke the tail lights. He wants to do it bad, says the car will look scary!

As I remember the wheels were something like $360. My X is lowered on BC coilovers so far without any issues, but right now it's only a very mild drop. When it's lowered that much more here in New England your at risk for damage given the road conditions.

most likely $360 per wheel. ebay has it listed somewhere in that area as well.

$360 is cheap for a forged wheel made by ray's. direct copy of the 57F.

Kinda like how my track wheels are somewhat TE37's

It's $360 a wheel. I thought it was a pretty good deal. They're nice and light, show my calipers and rotors, etc. ENKEI RPF1's was the other thing I considered. Their less expensive and an entire different look. Here's a link, http://www.enkei.com/rpf1.html

Wow, that thing is slammed. Nice choice of color combo by the way... How soon until you scrape your sway bar on a speed bump or driveway? Exhaust looks hot, is that a Stillen?

Hey that looks really nice. I've also got the stillen exhaust, stillen intake with z tube, and stillen rear sway bar. I like your wheels too. I installed BC coilovers about six weeks ago. I had it lowered almost as much as you and the handling was unreal, but now I'm lowered only just a bit under an inch all around due to winter in New England. Also when I was lower I had to really be careful, and frankly you just can't quite be careful enough. It seemed inevitable that sooner or later I was going to do some damage. You just had to hope it would be very minor.

suprisingly, the only time i scrape is when i try to go up steep curbs. highway driving expressway driving not a problem. the major thing is the underpart of the engine. that has scraped and took some big hits. sounds stupid to risk it but eh, its the look and drop i want. the car on the bc rides amazing really. at full stiff, it is firm but not to overwhelming and full soft is really honestly like stock. def best upgrade ive done.

Has anyone with an X installed SxExC's grounding kit? And if so, what did you do about the AT cable that goes to the tranny? Supposidly its impossible to get to because of our extra driveshaft....
