Help, can't find location of rattle.

I have a rattle which seems to come from the passenger side when the radio base is turned up. It is only at certain frequencies so the rattle does not last long enough for me to locate it. It's starting to really bug me. I thought they would have fixed the rattles for the 2004 models. I guess not. Can anyone point me in the right direction for stopping this noise?
Thanks!!![image]http://www.yestheyrefake.net/bangheadsmile.gif[/image ]

I betcha it's the same thing that is happening to my G. Check to see if it is the window switch plate. My driver side rattles when the bass is up. when I press on the plate the noise goes away.

Thanks,
I'll check it out tonight. I also have a rattle in the trunk when I open it while the stereo is playing. Since this rattle can't be heard in the cabin I'm not going to worry about it. I would have expected the engineers to perform freq. tests to find any areas of resonance. Guess thats how they keep the cost down.

Re: Help, can't find location of rattle.

Step one: Download "Miss Independant" by Kelly Clarkson

Step two: Burn it onto a CD

Step three: Insert said CD into player, play at vol level of 21 with Bass +5. Play the first 10 seconds-- perfect frequency to rattle the passanger side door (as recommended by my tech)

Step four: Do this for your dealership.

Step five: Tell them "Take an '03 TSB kit that fixes the rattles in the door, and double the padding already in mine"

Step six: Drive away in silence and enjoy.

Or,

Step One: Locate/burn a copy of 'Seven Nation Army' by The White Stripes.

Step Two: Play the CD with bass at a minimal +1 at volume 18. Play the first 15 seconds with primarily just a bass guitar line.

Step Three: Note that when you press on the driver side door in a certain location the rattle stops (next to my shoulder, not far below the window for me).

Step Four: Take to dealer on Monday and demonstrate the rattle and what makes it stop...and assume it's easy to fix with that information. Reference above-mentioned TSB if necessary.

I plan on taking Step Four this Monday :)

Re: Help, can't find location of rattle.

Just had mine in last week to correct the rattling doors, they also fixed the rattle in the rear deck. Also had them fix rocking seat, and seat causing pain on my leg.

They managed to do a good job, not too sure about the pain in the leg seat but the rattles are gone now and I'm not rocking in the seat anymore.

ps Rob Zombie just about any song at a level of 14-15 with bass of +1 was enough to get the door rattling on mine
