Tire pressure on OEM 18's?
 

I noticed my tires were a little more worn in the center so i went to go fill em with some air. The max air for my OEM 18's states 51 psi on the tire and the required psi stated on the sticker located near driver door stated 33 psi. I just got my car from the dealer not even 2 weeks ago and they rotated, balanced, and hopefully filled them with necessary air. Im kind of stuck on how much to fill mine up??? I put in between 35-40 psi on all 4 so we'll see....

will the pressure sensors from my 18's work with coupe 19's?

im not too sure if the 18 TPS will for work for the 19... but 35-40 seems kinda high to me... maybe sedan requires more... but on my coupe i keep it between 33-35

I set mine to 34 psi. I tried using 35 and 36, but the ride was too harsh (at least for me).

The tire pressure on the tire is what the tire manufacturer says is the max running pressure for the tire. You should be running the tire pressure that infiniti has in the owners manual or the sticker in the door jamb when running sotck tires. The reason your tires are worn more in the center is because you are running overinflated. If the tires were worn more in the shoulders than the center that means that you are running underinflated. Even though the car has a TPMS you should still periodically check your tire pressures.

Wait. If the center of the tires are more worn, doesn't that mean you have too much air in them and you should LOWER your air pressure?
