Lower power for CA G35's???
I was wondering after reading a post at My350Z.com on the topic of the XEDE engine management??. Are there differences in power in our G35's depending on the state emissions thing? Remember how the late model prelude was a bit weaker or detuned(197hp) for CA residents compared to the rest of the US having the 200hp motor. I thought that our cars were 50 state legal so it would be same all over the US. Cuz, my dealer found my car in California. I was thinking that maybe it was shipped there and he just picked it up from the East coast due to my specific order.

All of the 2004 G's are now more enviromentally friendly. It doesn't matter where they are sent.

The G35 is rated as an LEV (Low Emission Vehicle), and the ones in California are not detuned for better emissions.
