What MOds would you start off with?
Hey peeps how are you. I barely joined this forum today and so far it looks great. I pose this question that many of you probably answered a milllion years ago so some other noob lol..but unfortunately a noob is born everyday lol. I want to know what mods can I get that wont interfere once I get a turbo kit. So far I have these in mind for a 2006 g35x Sedan
1. Orthodox crank pulley
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=137
2. Orthodox crank pulley belts
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=139
3.Jwt pop charger w/ Z tube
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=114
4. 5/16" Copper ISO Thermal Plenum Spacer
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=319
5. Mrev2
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=364
6. Altered Atmosphere True Dual Exhaust
http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...st&prodid=1797
The only problem with number 6 is that it would take some custom work to my bumper and exhaust pipes since its a coupe exhaust. Does anyone think its worth it. I hate that all the good stuff the coupe has it lol
7. Auto transmission upgrade
http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIVALVE01&c=PE
Would you do #7 if you had an opportunity and do you think its worth $700 lol
I know I am missing a lot of things, but does anyone have any recommendations on what should I do first before i attempt any of these like any mods before I do these mods and if you think I am missing anything crucial, please advice. I am considering getting the g37 coupe, but I wanna keep my options open in case I decide to keep this one and MOd it. Any help would be appreciated. thx

start with the mrev, spacer, and z tube/pop charger, those are the three that will make you smile the most. There are a couple of threads about putting a dual exhaust on the sedan, use the search and see for yourself, however most have failed, or have been so unhappy with the finished product they went back to something specifically designed for the sedan. The pulleys and belts probably won't do a whole lot, but for $200 it might be worth a try to mak that decision yourself. I'd stay away from the stillen valve body upgrade, not only is it way too pricey, you'll have to be without your car for a few days while you send it in, and if it all it does if firm up a shift point you might be better of trying a grounding kit at 1/7th the price

2006 g35x Sedan
1. Orthodox crank pulley
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=137
Don't bother. Possible oil leaks and other issues just for a couple HP (max).
2. Orthodox crank pulley belts
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=139
(see #1)
3.Jwt pop charger w/ Z tube
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=114
Great mod, get this or the Stillen. Still only a couple HP but you also get sound.
4. 5/16" Copper ISO Thermal Plenum Spacer
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=319
YES!
5. Mrev2
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=364
This is for the 298hp Rev-Up motor so it wont work on yours.
6. Altered Atmosphere True Dual Exhaust
http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...st&prodid=1797
Won't work without major mods to the fuel evap system. If you want a direct fit exhaust the Stillen (full dual) and HKS (rear only) will fit. The Borla dual will fit with minor mods.
7. Auto transmission upgrade
http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIVALVE01&c=PE
Go with the VB upgrade from SGP Racing. It will help with shifts but is not needed unless you are going for big power. Just save up for boost!

Not
Directly from the motordyne site:
"MREV 2 Manifold:
The Motordyne MREV 2 Manifold high-torque plenum mod designed specifically for the VQ "REVUP" engine. This is the engine in all 2005 MT G35's and Track/Anniversary edition 350Z's and all 2006 MT 350Z's and G35's. In addition to a throatier growl, tests show MREV 2 Manifold adds 15+ HP and 19+ TQ at 4500 RPM. Although the peak HP is typically reduced by 2.5 HP the power band is greatly expanded. MREV 2 Manifold is quite possibly the most effective NA engine modification available for the VQ REVUP engine."
