2003 doggy trunk lid won't close
 

Hey guys, on my G35 sedan I just noticed that it won't close all the way, no matter how hard (and I didn't not try slamming it...) I try to close it. Did anyone experience this issue in the past?
Any insight would be appreciated.

I had that on my 04. The emergency pull thingy which is velcro`d to the lid came loose and was interfering. Look at the front edge of the trunk lid and see if it is hanging down. It wasn`t obvious unless I actually looked at it while trying to close the lid.

Wow gotta love message boards. RetAF you were right. While it wasn't the emergency pull thing that was interfereing, there was a small metal bracket (not sure where it led) that was preventing the lid from closing; it was the back edge (closest to the rear window) for me.
