Ugh..now Im torn again. I had my mind made up on getting the Megan and running it with my HR-Y. But that video with the Magnaflow sounds so good and it sound exotic compared to the Megan which I feel like has no tone and just loud.

I dont know what to do. Maybe I can get the Megan and if its too loud I can just run the muffler along with the coupe middy.

I have heard the Megan OE-RS, Megan Y pipe in person it sounded good as well, its kinda similar to the magnaflow.

You cant go wrong with either of them.

So I just installed a Megan racing OE RS catback with Y pipe.. I need a solution to make it more quiet maybe silencers? Its really loud from 1000- any RPM its actually loud!! Its going to break my cities decibel law. In the cabin its really loud windows up. Would putting my stock mid pip back on help?

^ bauss -- What year is your sedan again? In either case, probably yes, more if it's 03/04, less if 05/06.

I'd like to hear this!

Its 05... Im actually getting annoyed because I'm not even gunning it!!! and it seems like Im at 6000rpm but its funny because sounds like it quiets down when I get that high. At 2500 its loud! If you would like to here it in person PM me we could meet up or something. I was thinking of putting something back on stock muffler or mid pipe but I heard that messes with flow. I think its only going to get louder... I better start warning people about this haha. Its not so much of me caring if others hear it but its me in the cabin.

I guess you have to be careful what you ask for eh? IMHO a coupe or sedan midpipe isn't going to make it as quiet as you want. But at least you answered the question of will it fit on an X?

It's a shame Tony at Motordyne quit making the VQ exhaust for the sedans, it's just what you want. How do I know? I have one.

^bauss, I thought you were going with the Magnaflow/Coupe midpipe combo? It sounds just like my HKS/Coupe Mid/HR combo but slightly more aggressive. I had heard the Megan was way loud on its own but you added HFC's right?

You might need to let the muffler break in a bit, my Magnaflow was pretty loud in cabin but got better as I put some miles on it.
