I think I'm going to cry...
 

I was in bed, and at 11:30pm, I look out my window and I see some guys in front of my car. They were stealing my headlights! They stole one clean off, almost stole the other (but messed it up royally inside) screwed up the bumper, screwed up one of the front panels too... sigh... I'm just so saddened that this could happen in my own parking lot. I'm an honest guy. This car is 2 months old.... sigh. :(

I'm so sorry man. Some jerks stole the wheels off a friend of mines porsche 912, and they even beat in all the side panels when they were done. It happened in front of his house too.

This reminds me of American History X. This idiots deservef a curb stompinh. I'm not condoning the racest aspect of the movie, just the actions taken.

I'm sorry this happened, but I'd run after the f*cks with a kitchen knife, baseball bat or shoot them down.

Damm man, when you told me I was filled with hate and worry all in one. My friend who just got his rims put on, brand new tires system and everything got it stolen the same night out of his driveway. They left it on blocks took his new rims,deck,amp,subs and all of his cd's during a thunderstorm! I live 5 minutes away and just put my rims on and now I cant stop thinking about it damm. I need to put like 5 wheel locks on instead of one and all different brands LOL. iLLG

Here's the damage report:

roughly $3000 for 2 new headlamps, complete HID set for passenger side, no lamps for drivers (since I don't have to replace them.) new fender for passenger, and bumper ... that's not including labor... Ouch for something that only took minutes to accomplish.

The only good thing is that I'm leaving the car tommorow morning and they will have it ready on friday.

put the shock sensor upgrade ony our car as seen by redwillow's FAQ/DIY in same forum..this will at least let you know whats up and let them know you know...

Also - how did you deter them from further damage...?

I heard them.. so I hit the panic alarm on my spare fob (my balcony overlooks my car which is very beneficial) I'm sticking a monster alarm on.. I'm not playing with this crap again...

my recommendation to everyone:Get an Aftermarket alarm that has the bells and whistles unless you want to spend the $500 on your deductable every time. :(

I live on a decent street that has some busyness to it and no garage so i was thinking in addition to the shock sensor - we would have a sensor lighting system that would illuminate the area round the G with lets say 10,000 watts of light! Shine it all on the G and set up a audio track that goes on as well with the motion lights that sounds like angels going "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" (in soprano) continiously until the timer cuts the light off.

That would certainly scare of all but the most cracked up freaks!
