There are 2 fans on your sedan: 1) one for the condenser, which is for your A/C, and; 2) one for your radiator. The radiator fan has an internal clutch and only really begins to work when the engine overheats.
The larger fan, the one closest to the engine, is mechanical (belt driven) and will always turn if the engine is running (this is the one with the clutch). The smaller fan, which sits right behind your grill, is electrical.
Which fan are you referring to. If the electrical fan is always running, you may have overheating problems, a bad relay, or a host of other issues. Give us a little more info if you can.

lemme shek it oww...
Thanks "braintree"! Let me check that out before I take it to the dealer. I'm not to sure on which fan/s is blowing. Although they (dealer) said they can check it out and determine whether it's under the powertarin warranty or they can give me an estimate as far as what it would cost to repair if it's not... But has anybody experienced this before? It's and '04 Sedan with nearly 50k miles?!

Took it to the Dealer....
Nice! So I take my car to the dealer and to diagnose the car it runs a clean $195 dollars. If they find something wrong with the car and it's under warranty then they will refund my money. If it's not, then $195 plus parts plus additional fees to repair it.... Holly Shi*

some 03 and 04 have mechanical fans
I believe the sport 2004's have an electric fan
First, you need to check your fan. If you have a large fan attached to the engine then you have a mechanical fan. The electric fans are connected directly to the radiator. They have a shroud to make sure that the air drawn in is evenly spread out across the radiator.
Mechanical fan will run all the time as long as the engine is running. Its not until the engine hits a certain temperature though that the fan clutch really engages and pushes the max amount of air.
SO...if you have not noticed any overheating or an increase in heating it sounds like everything is running fine. The AC compressor fan will turn on if there is a real chance of overheating.
Also, you can (and may need) to do a coolant flush.

Could of been worse...
I decided to bite the bullet and get a local shop to diagnose it instead... As time went by they said it was a thermostat sensor (or whatever) and it wasn't... $250 plus later it was actually the f-ing thermostat. P.O.S. car... there goes money for your next mod... At least I didn't have to pay the dealer over $400 to tell me that the thermostat is not under warranty...
