How to obtain G35c's Power?
 

What can be done (legal & non-warranty voiding) to make the G35 sedan's power (260hp) equal to the G35 coupe (280hp)?

Has anyone heard if Nissan/Infiniti will offer a factory performance upgrade for the sedan that will match the coupe?

It really sucks that just because you prefer having two extra doors, you have to give up 20hp.

its not the 2extra doors that give up the 20hp.. its the better ecu chip.. and less restrictive exaust..

I do enjoy my 260 horses but I have to agree with hot4carz, I wouldn't mind an extra 20.

Oh, I definately wouldn't mind more either. But I'll probably just sit on it for another year or so and let the market provide more options before doing anything. 260 is enough to "tide me over" 'til then. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Until Infiniti releases its brand of Nismo products later this year, there really is no options for performance mods that dont void your warrenty.

That said, installing a suspension system will not void your engine warrenty just your suspension warrenty. etc. etc.

Your best bet is to wait awhile and see what comes out. But if you want the 20 HP, you can always get the Stillen Exhaust and Cold Air Intake, it will give you about 20 HP.

A Supercharger will give you atleast 350 hp on the G35. On my prelude I went from 200 hp to 278 hp and that was with just 6 pounds of boost.

Me too.. low-boost supercharger, nice smooth bump of torque across the whole powerband.
