Driver's Door Creak?
 

Great forum. I've had my g35x for about 7 months. Last week I noticed a creaking sound coming from the front driver's side door whenever I drive over a bump. Has anyone else had this problem? I am going to take it to the dealer but does anyone have a quick fix that I should look into. Thanks.

What area of the door? Can you put pressure somewhere on the interior panel to make the noise stop?

Yeah, if I hold the door handle firmly and keep pressure on the door by pulling it towards myself while driving (even though its already shut), the creaking noises go away. Thanks for the help.

Same exact problem I have with the same exact remedy that I have.

I've taken it to the dealer three times. Twice the did some work, the last time they couldn't reproduce it. Either way, the rattle has always remained there.

How have you put up with it for that long? It's hard for me to enjoy driving if I hear creaks and rattles in a car that is a half a year old.

Yeah it's the #1 gripe, but it's intermittent and not overbearingly loud. I will get it fixed one day.

My driver's side door actually touches the dash when its
hot out (expansion), it took me a year to figure out where
the noise was coming from, the dealer is working with Infiniti
on a bulletin but nothing as of yet, also there are bulletins on
the window popping and something with the window regulator
Man, everything is on the drivers side..if they don't fix it soon
I will just sand of some of the door panel..just kidding...

GBoy
