Yellowing trim on 06 sedan

Does anyone else have a problem with the aluminum trim turning yellow just above the ash tray? If so, how did you deal with it? BTW, I don't smoke and I don't think the previous owner did either.

Yeah I think its a defect in the adhesive they used. If you are still under warranty you may be able to have them change out the trim. Mine is starting to yellow alittle bit on the edges of the trim too.

I took mine into the dealer & they ordered the ashtray lid, the radio finisher & trim below it. I went back a few days later & had it replaced with no questions asked.

Im a heavy smoker, and so was the previous owner and my liner isnt yellow.. funny how the non-smokers get the short end of the stick when we're the ones smoking cancer sticks...

Mine is like that too, I'm assuming the previous owner smoked. I guess I shoulda gotten it taken care of under warranty? Oh well, too late now.

I dont think its related to somone smoking in the car. Its simply a defect with the trim itself.

I noticed it on mine the day after I bought it. My fiance thinks I'm crazy, but it definitely has a slight yellow tint to it. I might ask the dealer about it next time I'm in there just to see if they'll replace it.
