NO, theyre NOT OEM 19's haha. LOoking to trade my current set of oem 19's for a set of iForged Aero's and maybe powdercoat them. Heres the for sale thread:

Since iForged doesnt release offests, can anyone give me some insight on what i would have to do to get them to fit? And what tire sizes i would have to run to not mess with the AWD? Thanks :biggthumpup:

Judging by the look of them without a drop I would say the offsets are around +20. Those are bad offsets for a sedan, sedan offsest are closer to +30 and up.

You will need to roll your fenders for sure.

Tires sizes don't matter as long as the wheels with tires are the same diameter. You can run a filthy stagger and now mess up your AWD. Take this for example 245/45/19 The bolded MUST be the same size on each tire. The First number is the width and will not affect your AWD.

Yea, fenders are already rolled because im running spacers on my 19's. Ive been looking in the wide @$$ thread and some people are fitting ridiculous offsets on the sedans, but the camber is also insane. Im lowered on H&R sports and my OEM 19's with a 5mm spacer in the rear isnt quite flush, and without the 5mm spacer didnt rub whatsoever before i rolled my fenders. Im worried about the 275 though, thats the only problem. Waiting for someone from the wide @$$ thread to chime in haha. Thanks though, i thought that there was something else with the tire size that made a difference for AWD.

the only issue with tire size is that you want the rim+tire to have the same diameter on the front and the back wheels, whether staggered or not. i believe the tolerances are somewhere around +/- 3% . The closer the better.

Yea, thats what i was thinking. SO if i was running 275/35/19 in the back i should run around a 245/40/19 or 245/45/19 up front because theyll be closer to the same diameter right?

+/- 3% is for the ABS system. That's the acceptable difference in wheel rotation to not cause an error.

With AWD you want exact. In fact, some manufacturers will not replace 2 tires because the difference between new tires and worn tires is too much for the AWD system. AWD is mechanically coupled when the clutch is fully energized, so the tire size needs to be exact. If it isn't, something needs to give. I know GM's are very sensitive to the issue as a few owners have replaced only 2 tires at a time and have had chatter issues.

I don't think G35's are that sensitve, but i wouldn't take a chance. Transfer cases are not cheap. Make your tire/wheel selection VERY carefully.

yea, if i got them i might just pull the awd fuse for the summer anyway because ill put my 17 on for the winter. ID have to do so some research if i want to run the staggered setup with my AWD on.

Keep in mind pulling the fuse doesn't fully disable the AWD. There is always some connection, and if the F&R wheels still spin @ different speeds, there will be wear. I know guys do pull the fuse for summer setups, but doesn't mean it's right

How wide are the rims? 9" front and 10" rear?

I just checked out diameters and a 275/35/19 is 26.6" in dia and a 245/40/19 is 26.7" in dia. So you'd have a 0.100" difference in tire size. That should be fine to run with the AWD system enabled.

Second number is a % of the tread width.

so with a 245/45/17, the 45 means 45% of 245mm.

That's would give you a 110mm sidewall.

On a 275/40/17, it would be 40% of 275....or 110mm again.

So 245/45/17 and 275/40/17 are the same diameter...just one is 30mm wider.

Truth, I am running 265/35 and 225/45 and my diameters are almost identical(off by like 2mm)

I was just saying, keep it simple and keep the sizes together. If you can do 245/45 (or whatever you want) all the way around then that's the way to go for AWD.

They will probably fit since you said your fenders are rolled. I think you'll be ok. Might look weird because of the coupe offsets but they should fit!
