Click Click won't start
 
My car wouldn't start this morning and it makes a continious clicking sound when i turn the ignition. The dash board lights would flicker and the radio and lights would still turn out so i doubted it was the battery. However, I have read several threads to try and find the answer why i am having this problem, but i haven't found a thread with solution.
There was a lot of speculation that it was the battery or starter and then some other suggestions that it was the IPDM or the radio in the head unit, but i had that fixed last year.

Anyone have problem and can explain how they fixed it, Please!

I would say get your battery tested. It's probably too weak.
Of course, you could always rule out the starter by getting a jump!

sounds exactly like the battery i dosnt have the juice to turn the motor i had that same issue then just got a new batt and and wroom it wnet

+1 on the battery, when the cluster starts flickering and twitching its the battery.

check the terminals on the battery too, just to make sure theyre not super loose or coroded

happened to me brosif.... battery would not even jump....

Thanks ya'll for the feedback. Really appreicate it.
I did check the water levels and they looked fine, but i noticed last night when i turned my head lights on they seemed really dim. Also, the lights for the outside temperature and compass were dimm too.
Any advice on which battery i should replace it with?

Use boost pac to jump start your battery it will work, I had this issue last night but boost pac fixed it.

Either your radio is ****ed up and draining power or its something else ... our radio is cd player is broken, so I think thats what killed our battery. Were having it replaced tommorow free at infiniti.

How old is this battery? Once they get up near 4-5+ years, they start to crap the bed. If it's dying on you now, it will never be the same...even if jumped.

As for batteries, i'm partial to Sear Diehard Golds. A little pricey, but it's usually the last battery i buy for the car while I own it. I think you get what you pay for and i've never had to jumpstart any car i've owned with one.

BUT, you can have your battery tested. Take it to autozone and have them test it. They do a load test that tells you if the battery is good or bad

Duralast Gold, Its the same exact battery as Diehard Gold just cheaper. Its an excellent battery and its Guaranteed for like 5 years.

This is what I am running, my OEM Battery died out like in year lol, that was the replacement from the Original already.

Is the slip light on if it is its an easy fix let me know if not then the battery might need changing
