Can anyone else say they've towed and launched a boat with their G35?

Tollboothwilley 06-02-2010 09:29 AM

I've never seen a G tow anything...

GThirty-Kevin 06-02-2010 09:34 AM

Haha I'm gonna feel special if I'm the first to get the trailer hitch mod on my car

That poor G

GThirty-Kevin 06-02-2010 11:45 AM

Owners manual surprisingly lists the towing capacity of the car at 1000lbs. That jet ski only weighs 650lbs so it shouldn't hurt anything. Putting it in and pulling it out will be interesting if I ever lower the car tho...

trailer has wheel gap.

That is true. That actually leaves the option of lowering the trailer if I want to lower the G. You guys think coilovers for the trailer or should I get some OEM springs off a 2004+ seadoo GT trailer? :bowrofl:

Blue Dream 06-02-2010 01:02 PM

You know you're from Kentucky when you call a jet ski a boat.

Hey that qualifies as a boat... If we're really want to get technical thats a Personal WaterCraft.

JBF 06-02-2010 01:31 PM

GThirty-Kevin 06-02-2010 01:48 PM

^^ I'm thinking about it... I'm trying to make that SeaDoo as JDM as possible
